
Michael D. DiRoma
Research Consultant
Prior to joining the Committee, Mr. DiRoma served as a law clerk in White House Counsel's Office. Before his White House service, he spent two years as a research assistant to U.S. Civil Rights Commissioner Gail Heriot and served as a policy intern to the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, J. Dennis Hastert.
Mr. DiRoma received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego. He then obtained his J.D. from the University of San Diego, where he focused his studies on tax law and served as the Senior Executive Editor of the Journal of Contemporary Legal Issues (Vol. 17, 2008). In addition to his services for the Committee, Mr. DiRoma is a Principal at International Knowledge Group, Inc., an internet-based production company headquartered on the west coast.
He is also a member of the bar of the District of Columbia.
